Misalnya Garindra. Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Garindra Habiburokhman mengatakan partainya terbuka bagi seluruh warga negara Indonesia yang menerima Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945 Panchasila sebagai negara kesatuan dan Bhinneka Tungal Ika. Habiburokhman dalam keterangannya Jumat (25/8) mengatakan kemungkinan dirinya adalah anggota Bhinneka Tungal Ika Garindra.
Kendati demikian Habibrokmann menegaskan dirinya ikut andil dalam peristiwa pencopotan Budiman dari PDIP. Habib menegaskan penunjukan Budiman hanya urusan internal PDIP.
Sebaliknya kami menghormati kebijakan organisasi PDI Perjuangan. Katanya PDI Perjuangan dan Budiman adalah sahabat kita. Bahkan Jazrul mengusulkan kepada Budiman agar pada pemilu 2024 mendatang Budiman dari PKK sebaiknya terpilih menjadi anggota badan legislatif (kelig) DPR. Jazrul mengatakan Budiman punya standar yang diperlukan untuk melawan PKK. Oleh karena itu PKB dengan senang hati menerima Budiman setelah diberhentikan dari PDI-P.
Sementara itu Wakil Ketua Partai Gelombang Populer (Gelora) Fahri Hamzah sempat memberikan nasihat kepada Budiman pasca dipecat PDIP karena ia juga mengalami situasi serupa dengan Budiman. Fakhri didepak dari Partai PKR pada April 2016 setelah mengabdi selama 18 tahun di partai tersebut. Saya juga dipecat saat Fahri menyambutnya di klub di Gedung Parlemen Senayan Jakarta Jumat pekan lalu. Fakhri pun menyarankan agar Budiman meninggalkan dunia politik pasca pemecatan PDP.
Ia menilai Budiman harus merenungkan keputusannya bergabung atau bahkan membentuk partai politik seperti yang dilakukannya saat mendirikan Partai Rakyat Demokratik (PRD) pada 1990-an.
Diakui Fahri Kelora tidak mengajukan diri untuk bergabung dengan partai Budiman. Makanya lebih baik punya partai sendiri karena kaum intelektual dianggap orang hebat. Jadi sekarang lebih baik memikirkan istirahat yang akan memungkinkan dia membangun kembali kekuatannya. Ia mengaku sebelumnya sudah memutuskan apakah akan bergabung dengan PRD atau tetap sendiri.
