Panglima TNI Terus Menjaga Komitmen Memberantas Judi Online Dengan Menggencarkan Larangan dan Sanksi Tegas Kepada Prajurit yang Terlibat

Bersatunews, Jakarta – Menanggapi pernyataan Koordinator Kelompok Humas PPATK, Natsir Kongah dalam dialog di acara Sapa Indonesia Pagi pada 7 November 2024 yang menyebut puluhan ribu anggota TNI dan Polri terlibat perjudian online, penting untuk melihat kasus ini dengan perspektif yang lebih kritis agar tidak tergiring opini tendensius. Pernyataan ini memang mengejutkan, namun disisi lain, angka-angka tersebut perlu ditelusuri lebih lanjut dan tidak serta merta dijadikan dasar untuk menstigma buruk institusi TNI dan Polri. Penyampaian data tersebut cenderung menimbulkan persepsi negatif publik terhadap TNI-Polri di tengah kasus terbongkarnya sejumlah pegawai Komdigi yang menjadi Mafia Judi Online.

Pernyataan Natsir Kongah yang menggambarkan seolah-olah masalah ini sudah sangat masif di tubuh TNI dan Polri bisa berpotensi melemahkan kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi ini. Padahal, Panglima TNI sejak awal bulan Juni 2024 telah menunjukkan langkah konkret dengan penegasan bahwa prajurit yang terlibat akan langsung diberikan sanksi pemecatan tanpa kompromi. Langkah ini membuktikan komitmen TNI dan Polri dalam menjaga integritas internal, serta menunjukkan bahwa mereka tidak menoleransi tindakan ilegal di dalam tubuh institusi.

Masalah keterlibatan individu dalam judi online memang perlu mendapat perhatian serius, namun menjadikannya sebagai indikator kondisi seluruh institusi tanpa bukti/hasil investigasi yang komprehensif berpotensi memicu generalisasi yang tidak adil. TNI dan Polri adalah institusi besar yang telah menunjukkan komitmennya dalam melakukan pembenahan dan penegakan disiplin secara internal. Penting bagi semua pihak agar lebih cermat dan berhati-hati dalam memberikan data secara valid dan berimbang agar tidak semakin menimbulkan kegaduhan publik dan polemik berkepanjangan dihadapkan pada komitmen tegas Presiden beserta semua jajaran dalam memberantas Judi Online.

Publik juga perlu melihat kembali respon atau tindakan cepat dan tegas dari Panglima TNI sebagai bukti bahwa upaya menjaga integritas institusi ini terus berjalan. TNI dan Polri tetap berkomitmen untuk melindungi negara dan menjaga keamanan masyarakat, seraya mengatasi tantangan internal yang ada. Fakta bahwa TNI tidak ragu untuk menjatuhkan hukuman tegas pada anggotanya yang terbukti terlibat menunjukkan bahwa mereka tidak tinggal diam dan selalu siap untuk berbenah agar kepercayaan publik tetap terjaga.
